Boating

The boat ride yesterday was amazing, we ran into some trouble toward the end but over all, it was a good day. Here are the kids at the Marina.

Chasey and Piper.
Here we are docked at the Marina being instructed on how to manage the boat.

Randall.

All the kids enjoying their suckers.
Captain and navigator.

Me and Randall.

Randall fell asleep within the first 20 minutes.

Piper.

We made a stop at macdonalds and ate burgers on the boat.
We saw dolphins as we ate.

The Mackenzie, Randall, and Piper asleep on Christine on the way back to the Marina.
Manatee swimming. I was only able to catch it's tail above the water.

Randall wrestling/hugging (what's the difference right?) with his cousins Piper and Mackenzie.
Jeremy, Chandler and the twins left this morning for memphis where they'll be for 2 weeks. Me and Christine will meet them there when we get back home. Christine will be back in memphis on July 5th and i'll be back on July 6th but late that night. And not only will it be my birthday the next day but also it will be the start of my house-sitting/cat-sitting job for the Beck's. I will have their big house and huge L-shapped pool all to myself for 2 weeks (July 7-21). So if you want to come swim or hang out, you are welcome to :)

Back in Tampa

Mallory with our twin nieces, Mackenzie and Piper, and nephew Randall
Jeremy styling Randall's hair (into a mohawk!)
Randall chasing everyone with the watergun

Randall showing his cousin Chandler some love.

We went to Honeymoon Island today (a beach) and we all got BURNED! We were using this spray sun block that obviously didn't work very well...

Randall got the wierdest burn of all. A half moon under one eye, a triangle (going over a little bit of his nose) under the other eye and a weird looking widow's peal hair line burn.

In this one you can see how red Jeremy's body got and Piper's face.

Yesterday we did sort of a family photo shoot. We went out to this big tree by perkins and we all climbed it except for dad. The pictures came out sooo good! An actual professional photographer was exiting perkins and saw us and she offered to take some pictures! (You'll have to click on the pictures to view the larger version so you can see us more clearly).
All dad's kids and grand kids!

Tomorrow we're renting a big pontoon boat for the whole day so more pictures coming soon.

Day 9: Ponce

We've been in Ponce for 3 days now and it was far more beautiful than San Juan! There are montains in the distance any way you look!

This shot is from the 2 hour drive from San Juan to Ponce.

Here is our new hotel, the Hilton, from behind on a little pathway that we have walked everyday to go to the pool, beach, etc.

And here's our hotel room from the back sliding glass door.

Looking out the back sliding glass door and windows.

In the distance, between the gate and the grass is the pathway we walk (or ride bikes on).

From our back porch, looking sideways.

Walking the pathway. On the right side is the rock climbing wall, play ground, and then the gate and ocean. On the left side is the basketball courts, ping pong table, mini-golf course, pool and main lobby.

A more clear view of the activities on each side.

The beach, from the pathway.

Basketball court and mini-golf course (behind is the pool, fitness center, and lobby).
Ping pong table.
The fitness center was huge and it had bikes for free rental out front!
The kids riding the path on the bikes.
The pool.
After you walk through the gate door there are more beach chairs and umbrellas closer to the beach. This was taken at dusk about half an hour ago.

Here is the hotel's SECOND (and infinitly better) pool that is actually a part of a country club. The hotel has a shuttle that will pick hotel guests up and bring them here (it was only a minute away--if that--from our hotel but you have to cross a draw bridge so i guess that's why they prefer to shuttle you instead of walking.
Tomorrow is our last day here in Puerto Rico. We fly back into Tampa at 11pm. As beautiful and as fun as Puerto Rico has been I am definitely ready to get back home!
